TCW Team from UW Wisconsin Madison Coming to Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace is privileged to host a team of four college students from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, the end of March. The team will be with us for a week from Saturday, March 27 thru Sunday, April 4th.

What is a TCW team and what do they do? A Travel Canvass Witness team is a group of individuals who give of their time to be actively and personally involved in meaningful ministry for a period of time. The team is often made up four women are interested in serving their Savior over their Spring break.

Their experience gives them a taste and exposure to ministry as a means of encouragement and growth. That means they get hands-on exposure to day-to-day ministry, while assisting with special efforts such as canvassing, calling, and inviting friends of the congregation to offer feedback about how we can best serve them.

But not only does the team benefit and grow, so do those who host and work alongside them. Among the many benefits, is the privilege of encouraging these young ladies in their walk with God. One special way to encourage them is welcoming them to our Amazing Grace family for the week.

To make their stay as encouraging and enjoyable as possible, we are looking for help in the following areas:
Transportation: Ideally we would like to have one vehicle for the girls to travel to and from their respective host family homes. They will mainly be here at church for the week. They also have a day off where they will get to enjoy Myrtle Beach for the day. If you have an extra automobile you could spare for a week, it would be greatly appreciated.

Lunches: The lunches will be eaten here at church. Dinner We are looking for folks to contribute lunches for the college students.
Supper at your home or on the town: To connect more of our members to our TCW team and show our thanks, you might consider inviting the team into your home for supper one night or purchase gift cards to a local restaurant for them to enjoy.
