Growing in Grace

Bible Information Class

Jesus once said, “These are the Scriptures that testify about me” (John 5:39b). Bible Information Class is a review of the main teachings of God’s Word, centering on Jesus Christ. This class is for people interested in becoming members of Amazing Grace, or for people just looking to build their faith through the study of the Scriptures. Classes are scheduled at different intervals throughout the year. If the specific time frame does not fit into your schedule, Pastor Zahn is willing to accommodate to your schedule.

Adult Bible Class

The riches of God’s love that are revealed to us in the Bible are endless. Its application to your daily life is timely and relevant. God promises that those who remain in his Word and grow in that Word will thrive spiritually like a tree that is planted by streams of water.

Sunday School

Feeding the lambs of Jesus our Good Shepherd is important to us at Amazing Grace. Each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. we invite the children to enjoy age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, and activities developed to teach the Good News of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Confirmation Class

Our seventh and eighth graders take part in a weekly confirmation class for approximately 25 lessons in preparation for acceptance as adult, confirmed members of the congregation. Confirmation class covers all the basic teachings of the Bible and is specifically designed for the middle-school age group.

Women’s Bible Study

On the first Tuesday of each month, the women of Amazing Grace are invited to gather for a Bible study for women, led by women. The current study is entitled “Women of the Bible” All ladies are invited to attend.

Breakfast For Your Heart

It’s the songbook of the Old Testament that patterns our hymns, prayers, and songs. It’s an excellent devotional book. What’s the book? The book of Psalms in the Old Testament. Journey through it with us in 2012. We’ll look at three Psalms a week. Each Wednesday morning we meet for Bible Study at Bob Evan’s (Hwy 501 and River Oaks Drive) on Wednesday morning’s at 6 am. Satisfy your hunger pains with breakfast while sinking your teeth into God’s Word to strengthen your soul. For study sheets click on the resource materials on the right hand column. Updated each week here.
