Building on the Foundation

On Sunday, November 14th, Amazing Grace gathered at the church site following worship to inscribe on the building’s walls the favorite passages of the members.

“We affirm the foundation that has already been laid for our faith and inscribe it in this building as a reminder and witness to all of us and future generations that the Word has made us “members of God’s household.” The Word is what joins us together to make this ministry we share rise to become “a holy temple in the Lord.” It is this Word that joins us together for all to see and hear that in this building and through these people “God lives by his Spirit.” As the Apostle Paul wrote: For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Following the activities at the church property the congregation returned to the Ministry Center for its Annual Thanksgiving Potluck/New Member Welcome dinner. What a blessed day to have feasted both on the Word and food!
